Refurbishment & Conversion Scheme

Originally a merchant's house and was then used in the care sector before being vacated and left to deteriorate for many years. Wellcare construction purchased this property and through partnership with Sanctuary Housing, we fully refurbished the entire building using traditional skill sets required in a grade 2 listed building.

The scheme was converted into twelve apartments for Progress Housing. The scheme incorporated a biomass boiler/ heating system which gave a low carbon renewable alternative to traditional fossil fuels.
